  My friend Marshae and I went to this Applebees for lunch today! Our experience started out poorly and didn't really improve. The entire experience was horrible from the minute we walked in the door! The staff was standing around in small groups chatting amongst themselves while I stood at the hostess stand and waited, eventually I seated myself. The restaurant was over half empty, the service was very slow and once the server finally took my order, I thought everything would be cool. But NO, that wasn't the case! Numerous times I asked for refills of my Strawberry Lemonade & I was ignored! I even had to flag down staff & asked them for some more fries, after I asked the 4th wait staff I was unprepared for her response! This blonde heifer told me to my face that she is not Qualified to deliver me fries from the kitchen because she doesn't have a Food Handlers Card! REALLY! The look on my face was PRICELESS!
  Man, if you're not qualified to carry a plate of French Fries, what the hell are you doing there besides taking up space!
  And one worker even had the freekin audacity to get smart with me after I told 2 elderly women to seat themselves. She looked in my direction, Rolled her Eyes
  & told me they had to wait for her in a Snotty
  Tone. I replied "This woman is close to 80 years old; she is not waiting like that. I guess the old woman agreed with me, because she sat her behind at a table waiting to be served.
  Finally, a woman came over to my table, claiming to be the manager. I didn't asked for a manager, but 1 came, I guess she found out through the grapevine that Black Folks are mad at Table such n such! She listened to our complaints and bad experience & told us she will talk to her staff & will comp my meal.

  I have always been a fan of Applebee's, and it's a shame that this review has to happen. The food is pretty darn good for a chain. That is why I find myself coming back. But, the rudeness of the staff at this location, on this day, at this time is appalling.
  I'm traveling, so it's just me. I walk in the door and the hostess was seating someone. I catch, out of the corner of my eye, about 4 waitresses. When I look, they are signaling to the hostess to not seat me in their section. Then, when the hostess cane to seat me, she put me in a section being served by a waitress I didn't see standing there, and the ones that were standing there were laughing hysterically. I got up and moved to the bar. I told the hostess that I was moving to the bar and when she started to ask why, she hesitated, giving me the opportunity to tell her that since the wait staff didn't want to bother with me, I would just move.
  
  As I was waiting for my dinner, I noticed that these same waitresses were standing along the same wall like high school kids joking it up about everyone that walked in the door.
  
  Needless to say, I will not be back to this establishment.

  I give it 3.5 stars. I havent been to a Applebees for years, but we went the other day and was suprise how the food wasnt bad and actually taste good. Fries were nice and fresh and crispy. Nacho was actually good as well. Felt like the food was nice and fresh and the services was good. Really good place for a casual quick meal. Lots of parking and near a max stop and bus stop.

  We went to Applebee's the other day and LET ME TELL YOU, the service was great! we ordered some food and didn't wait long before it arrived, our appetizer was ok (as can be expected at applebees) and when our food came out we started eating. I got halfway through a piece of chicken before realizing the chicken had an odd texture. I put the piece down and tore open the next piece to find it RAW and I MEAN SUPER RAW! Like still clucking raw. I told the waitress and she was concerned (obviously) both managers came out and apologized for the issue and took my food off the bill. But I've been sick ever since, really sick. And even though the management team was really nice and apologetic and doesn't stop the fact that I've been throwing up for 8 hours.

  This Applebee's is not bad at all. The reviews seem too low. I've been here a few times and like it. They have plenty of staff, food and drink arrive quickly. The prices are more expensive then I remember, but every other places prices have gone up too.
